Contemporary living in the heart of Markham
Judith's award winning Canada Blooms 2012 garden, created with Premier Landscaping, has led directly to an exciting new project for a client who visited the show and really connected with Judith's award winning garden.
The project is for a property in the heart of Markham, where the client needs to create a home for outdoor furniture she had purchased from California. There is a lot of work to the project which covers both the front yard and the back, and will also involve an outdoor fireplace, water feature and outdoor kitchen.
The challenge for the back of the property is the overhead structure which the client, who happens to be an interior designer, wants to cover her furniture. Along with Joe, president of Premier Landscaping, Judith is looking at how best to meet the client's needs within the project budget.
At the front of the property, Judith and Joe are faced with making changes that both fix issues with the existing paving while integrating it with the new design elements. These new elements include a new wooden structure around the existing hedge and patio to refocus the space away from the neighbouring house and back to the client.
As Judith explains “it’s a wonderful project and I get to create a very contemporary and clean look.” It's also a further tribute to Judith's success at Canada Blooms; check back here for further details as this exciting new project unfolds.
