Harmonious garden design
Inspired planting design successfully brings together a new extension, pool and decking
As the client enjoys entertaining guests, the brief was to provide; a deck with different areas of space and levels in which people could relax and enjoy themselves, incorporate a fence around the pool for safety, a small change cabana and create interest in the garden. The existing swimming pool was at an angle to the new extension. My main challenge was therefore to create a design that brought the two together.
The deck was designed to wrap around the extension with different angles and levels to incorporate the pool and create the different spaces of varying intimacies for their guests. The garden with a flowing path and lush planting softens the deck and pool. The cabana was nestled off to the side under the existing trees. A great success!
